E.T.T. Fisher letter, 1887 / E.T.T. Fisher.

Collection consists of one letter from Fisher to C.H. Mattoon describing his father's (Ezra Fisher's) efforts to establish a Christian college at Oregon City, Oregon. The property was ultimately sold and those funds were used to support McMinnville College (now Linfield College) in McMinnville, Oregon.

E.T.T. Fisher's father, Ezra Fisher (1800-1874), was a Baptist missionary charged by the Baptist Home Mission Society to establish a Christian college in Oregon Territory.
